However, the one thing that could cause ALMOST as much excitement as that momentous event has happened.

Samantha got invited to go to the American Idol Finale tomorrow night!!!!!


She is over the moon with excitement.


We spent all day at the mall looking for the perfect outfit for her to wear. We had a blast.


Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for that birthday money. This mom was very excited to not foot the bill for said outfit. Though it is TOTALLY CUTE.


She is being picked up at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning to head out to Hollywood. They have to be their by Noon. I am not sure why they have to be their so early but Samantha doesn't care one bit.


Did I mention how excited she is????


We were huge Danny fans and so sad when he got voted off last week. We like Chris too so we are definitely voting for him tomorrow night.


We had her 13th birthday party a few weeks ago. We took four of her friends to the drive in movies and then they all came home and swam until midnight and then crashed on the living room floor watching movies and talking about boys.

Really, what could be better?

Here she is with all the girls. Samantha is in the front left with the stripe going down her arm. He friend Michelle is in the back in the purple. She is the one taking Samantha tomorrow. They are going with her big sister who is in college and their friend Emily who is in the front of the picture in the green. They are such a fun group of girls, I know they will have a blast.

I'll try and take a few pictures of her in her cute new outfit before she runs out the door in the morning.

I think I am almost as excited as she is!
