Going For The Gold
Anyone else addicted to the Olympics?
I have decided that TiVo and the Olympics might be the BEST. THING. EVER.
I have been taping everything and then watching every wonderful minute of it (minus the commercials).
Yesterday I told myself it was OK that I was sitting on the couch watching TV all day because I was going to fold laundry while I did it.
Want to know how much laundry I folded?
Not. One. Piece.
My house could seriously be falling apart by the time this thing is over.
Do you think there's a medal for best couch potato during the Olympics?
Seriously, if there is, I already have it all locked up.

Hey, I just wrote about this today! All I need is a bag of chips!
Enjoy!
Mmmmm, chips?! I'm there :) But even without the chips, I am totally loving every minute. I'm not even griping about both of the tvs being on for endless hours at a time. Loving the Chinese women's gymnast team - they are so cute ;)
Yup, I wrote about it, too -- I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Olympics!! The men's relay tonight has me so excited I can't sleep! YEEHAW!!
I'd win with the couch potato award also!!I LOVE watching the Olympics!
I have refused to watch anythign of the Olympics on TV because I *was* addcited last time they passed there. My kids would be in serious states of neglect...
Poor thing! At east you can record the stuff and fast forward to the good parts.
I am putting our DVR to good use as well. And the best part is fast forwarding through all the commercials!
My daughter is now using our rug as her gymnastics mat (our rug is a square). She is trying to stay in the lines so she doesn't lose points!
I was just talking to my dh last night about how GREAT dvr (tivo) is with the Olympics. :)
* I am new to your blog. :) I am also a fellow baseball mom and love it. ;)
I may give you a run for your money on the couch potato award! What's worse is that it's 11:47 PM and my 2 yr old JUST fell asleep because he is also addicted. We were watching the gymnastics and he loves the jumping and twirling!
The bad thing for my housework is that we were just beginning to recover from the XGames addiction we also suffer! I was planted on the couch for that a couple of weeks ago...
I keep reading about bloggers being hooked on the Olympics, lol. I'm up anyway, but I keep forgetting they are on. The blessing and cursing of having Dish, I guess.
I don't watch TV much, but the kids monopolize it when it is on, so I don't even try.
