Pondering
I'm thinking about pulling out the Christmas boxes today and decorating the house so it will be done before Thanksgiving. I would love to have everything up and ready to go without the worry of it all.
I'm feeling in the mood to put on some music and start decorating my mantle. I am kind of amazed by this fact given it is still 90 degree's outside here. Can we get a little cool weather, please?
Do any of you decorate this early? My family thinks I am crazy.

I'm putting it off until after Thanksgiving! :) The retail world has really taken Christmas out of me!
Well, I like to wait until after Christmas because I like the harvest decor for Thanksgiving Day, but my sister just emailed everyon saying she put up her tree -- so you are not the only one! I notice that a lot of people have their outside decorations up, too. Have fun!

This is a year where I plan to wait till the last minute to shop so I can get some deals (very out of character, I usually am done shopping by now) and I'm not even sure I want to get a tree this year!

Your not crazy. :) We used to do it the day after Thanksgiving, however the last few years we have done it Thanksgiving night after dinner. :)
Every year, we want to put the tree up early, but generally, we end up doing it the wekeend before.
Too soon! Too soon! I have a rule: no Christmas till Thanksgiving afternoon. Period. The kids think I'm nuts, but it's my rule. And since I usually do most of the decorating and music playing, etc. I get to make the rules :)
