Autumn In July?
Last week the weather turned cool and it felt so good to snuggle under the blankets in the morning. I was so happy. This is my favorite time of the year and I couldn't wait for the first day of October today so I could drag out my Autumn boxes and decorate the house for the season.
However, my plans were foiled.
All week it has been in the 90's and the weather actually had the nerve to hit a whooping 100 degrees today.
Doesn't exactly make me want to drag out the pumpkins and scarecrows.
The kids are enjoying these last few days (I hope) of warm days and jumping in the pool to play together.
I, however, am dreaming of cuddling under warm blankets with a fire in the evening. Anyone have some cooler weather than can send west to make me happy?

Here's sending some chilly weather your way!! ;)
We're about 54 degrees right now, all dreary and windy. I love it! I'm all decked out in my fleece sweatpants and a thick, hooded sweatshirt...it just feels so cozy in here. Of course, it also makes me want to just hang around the house instead of running to the store, so not all is perfect about this change of season!!
It freezing over in our corner of Canada. Take it away anytime! ;)
Yes, we have perfect weather. Upper 60's during the day, 40's at night. No a/c, no heat! Yay!
I.Am.So.Jealous.
I just went to pick Paige up at school and the temp. read 96 degrees.
I know I shouldn't complain. But I really want to put on my nice warm jammies and lay by the fire making smores.

Are you kidding me? Sheesh! That's crazy hot. Yes, we are having temps in the 50's and 60's. I've been wearing sweaters. I'll definately send some your way.
Wow, that's HOT. My sister just moved to San Diego and she said it is unusually warm there now, too.
Anyway, pushing some of our freezing NH weather your way! (58 degrees today.)
