Special Times

I am way behind on my Christmas shopping so tonight when hubby got home I took off for some power shopping. I took along my 10 year old daughter who loves to shop. I do not. I like to get in and get out. She loves the whole shopping experience. She wants to look at everything in the store. She wants to talk with all the sales clerks and anyone else who will engage in a conversation with her. She is fascinated by those things that most of us take for granted, and I find this child incredibly wonderful to be with. We had so much fun. We laughed, we shopped, laughed, shopped some more, and bought way to many things for ourselves when we were suppose to be shopping for others. Sometimes it scares me how different we are. Will we be friends when you are grown? Will you still want to shop with me and share little secrets? I pray to God with all my heart that you will. My sweet sweet daughter, I love you so much!

About Me...

Name:
Julie

I am a spontaneous, out going, daughter of the King, who is married to a wonderful guy who is a quiet, shy, non-spontaneous, scientist who also loves the Lord. Truly a match made in heaven! We fight and argue, love and laugh, every single day. I am passionate about orphan care and love to tell our story to anyone who will listen. This blog is dedicated to that journey.
